Midwifery Board Exam Result April 2019

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces the result of the Midwifery Licensure Examination. The said examination was given by the Board of Midwifery in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on April 10-11, 2019. It was conducted by the Board of Midwifery headed by its Chairman, Dr. Alejandro R. San Pedro and its members, Dr. Remy B. Dequiña, Dr. Josephine H. Hipolito, Dr. Lolita I. Dicang and Ms. Rhodora L. Lopez.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 460 out of 1,416 passed the Midwife Licensure Examination. Congratulations to our new midwives!

Online Initial Registration Application and Requirements

From April 22 to April 23, 2019, the application for the issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration will be done online. To accomplish the initial registration, here is our PRC online registration guide to help you through the online application process.

Here are the registration requirements:

  • Notice of Admission (NOA) – for identification purposes
  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • Passport-sized ID Photos in white background and with complete name tag (2 pieces)
  • Documentary Stamps (2 sets)
  • Short Brown Envelope (1 piece)

PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals. The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

Previous Exam

The PRC administers the Board Licensure Examination for Midwives twice per year on the months of April and November. On November 2018 board exam, 1,175 out of 2,478 examinees passed the examination. Excelsia Rebeka Maree Lobete Basco from Immaculate Conception College got the top spot with 90.75% rating. She was followed by Darlene Villanueva Mendoza from Brokenshire College- SOCKSARGEN with 90.30% rating.
