The August 2023 Guidance Counselor Licensure Examination (GCLE) result is now available on this page this Tuesday, August 22, 2023.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Guidance Counseling conducted the licensure exam in various testing centers nationwide on August 16–17, 2023. Dr. Elena V. Morada and Dr. Carmelita P. Pabiton, members of the Board of Medical Technology, and Dr. Luzviminda S. Guzman, chairman, were in charge of the licensure exams.
Guidance Counselor Board Exam Results
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 295 out of 559 passed the Guidance Counselors Licensure Examination given by the Board of Guidance and Counseling in N. C. R., Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Koronadal, Lucena and Rosales this August 2023.
Initial Registration and Requirements
On October 11 – 13 and October 16, 2023, the registration for the issuance of a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online and only accessible through an online appointment. The PRC will also release the schedule for the online appointment along with the list of passers. Here are the registration requirements:
- Notice of Admission (NOA) for identification purposes
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Passport-sized ID Photos on a white background and with a complete name tag (2 pieces)
- Documentary Stamps (2 sets)
- Short Brown Envelope (1 piece)
The official date of the oath-taking ceremony for the new guidance counselors will be announced later.
Previous Exam
In the August 2022 Guidance Counselor Licensure Examination, 405 out of the 661 (61.27%) takers passed the exam. Mr. Ryan Michael Flores Oducado from West Visayas State University—La Paz topped the exam, followed by April Jane Sabales Sibulo from the University of Nueva Caceres with 89.25% and 89.05% ratings, respectively.
