September 2023 Electrical Engineering Board Exam Results

The September 2023 Electrical Engineering Licensure Examination result is now available on this page four working days after the last day of the exam.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Electrical Engineering conducted the licensure exam in various testing centers nationwide on September 2-3, 2023. Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza, a member of the Board of Electrical Engineering, and Engr. Francis V. Mapile chairman, were in charge of the licensure exams.

REE Results: September 2023 REE Exam

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,218 out of 3,945 passed the Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination and 800 out of 1,490 passed the Registered Master Electricians Licensure Examination given by the Board of Electrical Engineering. Congratulations to our new registered electrical engineers!

Initial Registration and Requirements

On October 9 – 13, October 16 – 20 and October 23, 2023, the registration for the issuance of a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online and only accessible through an online appointment. The PRC will also release the schedule for the online appointment along with the list of passers. Here are the registration requirements:

  • Notice of Admission (NOA) for identification purposes
  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • Passport-sized ID Photos on a white background and with a complete name tag (2 pieces)
  • Documentary Stamps (2 sets)
  • Short Brown Envelope (1 piece)

The official date of the oath-taking ceremony for the newly registered electrical engineers will be announced later.

Previous Exams

The most recent Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) licensure exams were held in April 2023 and September 2022. In April 2023, 3,339 out of 5,771 examinees passed, a passing rate of 57.86%. Christian Dave Lozano Guevarra from Rizal Technological University was the topnotcher, with a rating of 93.25%. Troy Fellone Mazaredo from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Sto. Tomas was the second placer, with a rating of 92.35%.

In September 2022, 2,467 out of 4,914 examinees passed, a passing rate of 50.20%. Felipe Acol Jimenez Jr. from Eastern Samar State University – Borongan and King Joshua Duldulao Arzadon from Saint Louis University took the top and second spots with ratings of 94.10% and 90.95%, respectively.
