About the June 2026 Fire Officer Examination

The June 2026 Fire Officer Examination was administered by the Civil Service Commission on June 7, 2026 to establish a Register of Eligibles (RoE) for individuals seeking appointment to second-level positions in the Bureau of Fire Protection and other functionally related government agencies. According to the CSC, 22,211 examinees took the examination nationwide. The Fire Officer Examination was conducted simultaneously with the Penology Officer Examination (POE).

To pass the examination, examinees must obtain a general rating of at least 80.00%. Those who successfully pass the examination will earn Fire Officer Eligibility, which may be used when applying for qualified government positions, subject to existing laws, qualification standards, and agency-specific hiring requirements.

Individual Examination Rating

Both successful and unsuccessful examinees may view their individual examination ratings through the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS) beginning July 27, 2026. Examinees should prepare their Examinee Number, complete personal information, examination date, and testing venue, as these details must match the records submitted during the examination.

Certification of Eligibility

Successful examinees may claim their Certification of Eligibility (CoE) beginning August 19, 2026 from the CSC Regional Office or Field Office where they took the examination. The certification serves as official proof of Fire Officer Eligibility and may be required when applying for positions in the Bureau of Fire Protection and other eligible government agencies.

Congratulations to the CAR Passers

Congratulations to all successful examinees in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR). Passing the June 2026 Fire Officer Examination is an outstanding accomplishment and a significant step toward a career in public service. We wish you continued success as you pursue opportunities in the Bureau of Fire Protection and contribute to safeguarding lives and communities. To those who did not pass this time, remain determined and continue preparing for future Fire Officer Examinations.
