The results of the Mechanical Engineer (ME) and Certified Plant Mechanics (CPM) board exams for August 2023 are now available today, August 10, 2023, or four (4) working days after the exam.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Mechanical Engineering conducted the licensure exam in various testing centers nationwide on August 5 and 6, 2023.
The board examiners were Engr. Leandro A. Conti, Chairman; Engr. Jerico T. Borja; and Engr. Lorenzo P. Larion, Members.
ME Board Exam Result
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 2,133 out of 4,237 passed the Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination. Congratulations to our new engineers!
Initial Registration and Requirements
On October 2 – 6, October 9 – 13, and October 16 – 17, 2023, the registration for the issuance of a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online and only accessible through an online appointment. The PRC will also release the schedule for the online appointment along with the list of passers. Here are the registration requirements:
- Notice of Admission (NOA) for identification purposes
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Passport-sized ID Photos on a white background and with a complete name tag (2 pieces)
- Documentary Stamps (2 sets)
- Short Brown Envelope (1 piece)
The official date of the oath-taking ceremony for the new mechanical engineers will be announced later.
Previous Exam
In the previous ME board exam held on February 2023, 3,774 out of 6,070 (62.17%) examinees passed. Reynell Villanueva Sanchez from Rizal Technological University was the topnotcher with a rating of 94.90%, followed by Mark Francis Manalad Sedano from the Technological University of the Philippines—Manila with a rating of 94.30%. The University of Science and Technology of the Southern Philippines (CDO) was the top-performing school with a 100.00% passing rate.
