The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) is now opening the application for the NAPOLCOM Computer-Assisted Examination (NAPOLCOM CAEx). If you are interested to take the NAPOLCOM Exam, check the application and exam schedule, including the requirements below.
What is CAEx?
The NAPOLCOM Computer-Assisted Examination (CAEx) for the PNP Entrance Examination is a three-hour examination open to all Filipino citizens who meet the age and educational requirements, as well as to Patrolman/Patrolwoman whose appointments are temporary for lack of appropriate eligibility. Passers of this examination will be conferred the NAPOLCOM Eligibility, a major requirement when you apply as a Police officer of the PNP.
Interested applicants must first secure an appointment through the On-Line Examination Application Scheduling System (OLEASS) which shall be activated on January 24, 2022.
Application and Exam Schedule 2022
The NAPOLCOM will start accepting application scheduling through their CAEx Online Examination Application Scheduling System from January 24, 2022 at 12:00 noon to July 25, 2022. The test center will be in CAEx Room, 20th Floor, NAPOLCOM Central Office, DILG-NAPOLCOM Center, NAPOLCOM Bldg. EDSA cor. Quezon Avenue, West Triangle, Quezon City 1104. The examination fee is Php 600.00.
Please be reminded that they will not accept walk-in applicants. Only those who have secured their schedules will be entertained.
How to Get an Appointment
The NAPOLCOM utilizes the Online Examination Application Scheduling System (OLEASS) for the scheduling of the filing of applications for the PNP Entrance examinations. Keep in mind that only the applicants with a confirmed scheduled appointment with a reference number will be entertained. Secure your schedule as soon as possible because the acceptance of applications is on a “first-come, first-served” basis.
To get the scheduled appointment, please follow the instructions below:
- On a computer with an internet connection, go to the NAPOLCOM official website. Click on the Online Examination Application Scheduling System or log directly to www.napolcom-oleass.com and fill out the mandatory fields.
- Click the SUBMIT button after filling out the required details. A confirmation will appear if the registration was successful. If not, repeat the whole process.
- Click the PRINT CONFIRMATION LETTER button on the screen to print your confirmation letter. Bring this confirmation letter when you file your application.
How to File Application
Here are the basic documents needed for filing your application:
- A printed copy of the emailed confirmation slip with a corresponding reference number confirming the scheduled appointment.
- Duly-accomplished application form and index card with two (2) recent and identical 1 x 1 ID pictures (in color) with white background and complete name tag (If you are already a PNP member, please indicated rank before the first, middle, and last name).
- One (1) legal-sized window envelop
- Transcript of Scholastic Record (with Special Order issued by CHED) and Diploma from CHED-accredited schools, state universities, and colleges.
- College or University Diploma
- Birth Certificate (BC) in Security Paper issued by Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) or Certified True Copy of BC issued by the Local Civil Registrar (LCR) and duly authenticated by PSA.
- For Patrolman/Patrolwoman Pat/PO1 with temporary appointment, a certified true copy of Attested Appointment, Plantilla Appointment or Special Order.
- Valid ID ( Government-issued ID with signature e.g., PhilSys ID, Driver’s License). NO valid ID, No processing!

Keep in mind that those applications sent through postal mail will not be processed.
Reminders
In view of the alleged confusion on the submission of a Medical Certificate as one of the requirements for the NAPOLCOM Computer-Assisted Examination, the NAPOLCOM reiterates that the required Medical Certificate indicating that the examinee is COVID-19 FREE must be issued by a Licensed Government Physician assigned or working in a Barangay/Municipal/City/Provincial Health Office or other government health monitoring center/office where the applicant resides, within 72 hours before the examination day.
Any rapid test results, Barangay Certificate, or Medical Certificate issued by a private health institution or clinic will not be accepted.
Only 15 examinees will be accommodated per examination day and only those with normal body temperature and with no other COVID-19 symptoms will be allowed to enter the premises. You are required to accomplish the Health Risk Assessment in the Revised Visitor’s Slip and wear a mask and face shield prior to entry. Examinees should wear plain white shirt, dark pants, and shoes during the three-hour examination.
