The Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) announces the results of the PNPA Cadet Admission Test (PNPACAT) for the Calendar Year 2023. According to PNPA, this year’s PNPACAT has the second-highest number of examinees in its history. A total of 25,418 hopefuls took the PNPACAT on August 5–6, 2023, in 37 testing centers nationwide.
These fortunate young men and women will take the four-year Bachelor of Science in Public Safety (BSPS) and various skills training courses related to Police Science. Once accepted to the academy, these individuals will enjoy free 4-year tertiary education, free board and lodging, state-of-the-art training facilities, and equipment, and Php 38,000 worth of training allowance monthly, which is equivalent to the salary of a police executive master sergeant.
PNPA Entrance Exam 2023 Results
According to the PNPA, 1,031 out of 25,418 (4.06%) aspirants passed the 2023 PNPA Cadet Admission Test. Congratulations to the passers!
The examination comprised the fields of Communication Skills, Math, Science, Logical/Abstract Reasoning, General Information, Current Events, and Values. With an annual average passing rate of 11%, those who pass the PNPACAT will still need to undergo medical, neuropsychiatric, and physical agility tests, and face a board interview before being accepted into the academy as members of the PNPA Class of 2028.
Reminders to Passers
Successful examinees who pass the PNPACAT will qualify for the next stage of the screening process. Any applicant who fails to meet the required height will be disqualified even if he or she passes the entrance examination.
The applicant must pass the early stages of the screening, as the said testing is sequential. Applicants who fail at an earlier stage will not be allowed to proceed to the next stage. Those who managed to pass all stages of admission will be appointed as PNPA cadets no later than June 1, 2024, as a member of the PNPA Class of 2028.

You may take the exam next year, as long as you are still under the age limit of 23 years old. If so, you may also start preparing the requirements.

As per PLT COL LOUIE GONZAGA, PIO of PNPA, the result of the exam will be available this month.
