The Philippine Military Academy recently announced the official list of successful young Filipinos who will compose the PMA Class of 2026. The PMA Cadet Procurement Board selected 350 candidates, composed of 222 males and 128 females to become incoming plebes after an intensive deliberation and selection. These young Filipinos were selected from the 1,211 examinees who successfully passed the 2021 PMA Entrance Examination in 41 testing centers nationwide.
Last year, 37,651 Cadet Aspirants applied for the PMA Entrance Examination (PMAEE). Only 1,211 examinees (or 4.986 percent) passed the examination out of a total of 24,288 who qualified to take it. After passing the PMAEE, Cadet Aspirants were subjected to a stringent screening process that included a physical and medical examination as well as a service interview. Following that, 350 Cadet Aspirants were scheduled to join the PMA Class of 2026.
