Waiting for the August 2026 Civil Service Exam Subprofessional results? The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has set October 12, 2026, as the target date for releasing the results, with publication possible before that date.

The examination took place on August 9, 2026. However, applicants assigned to NCR and selected testing centers in other areas had their examinations postponed because of adverse weather conditions.

This page will post the August 2026 CSE-PPT Subprofessional list of passers once the CSC publishes the official results. Check back for updates and make sure you select the correct examination level and region when searching for your name.

Results status as of October 6, 2026: Awaiting the official release.

The CSC’s website remains the official reference for the list of successful examinees. The announced release schedule may change, depending on subsequent CSC advisories.

How Many Examinees Took the Subprofessional Exam?

A total of 20,577 applicants sat for the Subprofessional examination on August 9. This corresponds to an 89.19% attendance rate among the 23,072 registered applicants in testing centers where the examination went ahead.

The table below summarizes the Subprofessional figures reported by the CSC:

Examination dataFigure
Registered applicants in centers where testing proceeded23,072
Examinees who took the test20,577
Attendance rate89.19%
Applicants affected by suspensions, counted separately7,697

Across both examination levels, 240,972 examinees took the CSE-PPT in 83 testing centers. Applicants whose tests were suspended are not included in this actual examinee count.

Why Were Some Examinations Postponed?

Severe weather disrupted the scheduled examination in NCR and parts of Region IV and the Cordillera Administrative Region. The CSC suspended testing in the affected locations to protect examinees and examination personnel and account for difficulties reaching examination venues. In NCR, the suspension applied to all testing centers.

Overall, 67,255 registered applicants were affected, including 7,697 Subprofessional applicants and 59,558 Professional applicants.

If your examination was postponed, follow the announcements of your CSC Regional Office regarding the replacement schedule and testing arrangements. The October 12 results target concerns the examination held on August 9.

Passing Grade and Subprofessional Eligibility

Examinees need a general rating of at least 80.00 to pass the CSE-PPT.

Successful Subprofessional examinees earn Career Service Subprofessional Eligibility, a first-level eligibility appropriate for first-level government positions, including clerical positions, that do not involve the practice of a profession and are not covered by special laws.

Passing the examination does not automatically guarantee a government appointment. Applicants must still satisfy the other qualifications and requirements of the position they wish to fill.

Where to View Your Individual Rating

To check your individual examination rating, access the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS) through the CSC website.

Under the original examination announcement, individual ratings are expected to become available on or before October 19, 2026, unless the CSC announces a different schedule. The release of individual ratings is separate from the publication of the passers list, so examinees should check the relevant advisory before accessing the system.
