GCLE Result August 2024: The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the August 2024 Guidance Counselors Licensure Examination Results on August 16, 2024. The list of the top ten examinees is also included in the release, two (2) working days after the last day of the examination.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Guidance Counseling conducted the licensure exam in the National Capital Region on August 13–14, 2024. Dr. Elena V. Morada and Dr. Carmelita P. Pabiton, members of the Board of Medical Technology, and Dr. Luzviminda S. Guzman, chairman, were in charge of the licensure exams.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 316 out of 539 passed the Guidance Counselors Licensure Examination. Congratulations to the passers!
Initial Registration and Requirements
Starting October 2, 2024, the registration for the issuance of a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online and only accessible through an online appointment. The PRC will also release the schedule for the online appointment along with the list of passers. To accomplish the initial registration, follow our PRC online registration guide to help you through the online application process.
Here are the registration requirements:
- Notice of Admission (NOA) for identification purposes
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Passport-sized ID Photos on a white background and with a complete name tag (2 pieces)
- Documentary Stamps (2 sets)
- Short Brown Envelope (1 piece)
The official date of the oath-taking ceremony for the new guidance counselors will be announced later.
Previous Exam
In the August 2023 Guidance Counselor Licensure Examination, 295 out of 559 examinees passed the exam. Justine Grace Ramos Loteria from Asian Theological Seminary-Quezon City was the topnotcher garnering an impressive rating of 90.90%. Following closely was Alyzza Louize Valenzuela Malibiran from the Philippine Normal University-Manila with a rating of 88.40%, clinching the second spot in the examination.
