The Professional Regulation Commission released the official results of the Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Exam today, August 29, 2024. The list of the top ten examinees will also be included in the release three (3) working days after the last day of the examinations.
On August 24–25, 2024, the PRC conducted the licensure exam in the NCR, Baguio, Cebu, and Davao. It was administered by the Board of Electrical Engineering, headed by its Chairman, Engr. Francis V. Mapile, and Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza as a Member.
Electrical Engineering Board Exam Result
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,655 out of 3,058 passed the Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination. Congratulations to our new registered electrical engineers!
Initial Registration and Requirements
The registration for the issuance of a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online and only accessible through an online appointment. The PRC will also release the schedule for the online appointment along with the list of passers. Here are the registration requirements:
- Notice of Admission (NOA) for identification purposes
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Passport-sized ID Photos on a white background and with a complete name tag (2 pieces)
- Documentary Stamps (2 sets)
- Short Brown Envelope (1 piece)
The official date of the oath-taking ceremony for the newly registered electrical engineers will be announced later.
Previous Exams
In April 2024, 4,436 out of 7,005 passed the Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination. Mr. Raymond Omboy Geoman from Cebu Institute of Technology-University got the top spot of the examination with a rating of 95.00%. Following closely was Mark Angelo Alba Oppus from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Main-Sta. Mesa, with a rating of 94.40%. Meanwhile, the University of Batangas was the top-performing school with 76 passers out of 79 examinees, garnering an impressive 96.20% passing rate.
