The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces the result of the March 2021 Physician Licensure Examination given by the Board of Medicine in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. The said examination was conducted on March 7,8, 14, and 15, 2021, and was administered by the PRC Board of Medicine headed by its Chairman, Dr. Eleanor J. Galvez, and its members, Dr. Godofreda V. Dalmacion, Dr. Zenaida L. Antonio, Dr. Rafael R. Castillo, Dr. Raquel S. Sayo, and Dr. Martha O. Nucum.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,234 out of 1,927 passed the Physician Licensure Examination. The results were released in three (3) working days from the last day of examination. Congratulations to our new medical doctors!
Online Initial Registration Application and Requirements
From April 5 to April 23, 2021, the registration for the issuance of a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online and only accessible through an online appointment. The PRC will also release the schedule for the online appointment along with the list of passers. Here are the registration requirements:
- Notice of Admission (NOA) – for identification purposes
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Passport-sized ID Photos in white background and with complete name tag (2 pieces)
- Documentary Stamps (2 sets)
- Short Brown Envelope (1 piece)

Previous Exam
In November 2020, a total of 3,538 out of 4,704 passed Physician Licensure Exam. Mr. Jomel Garcia Lapides from the University of the Philippines – Manila clinched the top spot with a rating of 88.67%. Meanwhile, the Cebu Institute of Medicine was the top-performing school with a 100% passing rate.%.
