Respiratory Therapist Board Exam Results (March 2021)

The Professional Regulation Commission has yet to announce the results of the March 2021 Respiratory Therapist Licensure Examination. It was conducted last March 10 and 11, 2021 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, and Pampanga. The Said examination was given by the PRC Board Of Respiratory Therapy led by its Chairman, Julita V. Toledo, and members; Senen O. Teope and Jesus M. Espinas.

Respiratory Therapy Board Exam Results

The list of passers including the list of the top ten examinees will be posted here as soon as the PRC releases the official results online. Expect the results to come out on Monday, March 15, 2021 or in two (2) working days after the exam. However, results may be released earlier or later than the target date without prior notice from the PRC. Please stay tuned for more updates.

Exam Coverage

The March 2021 Respiratory Therapist board examination is comprised of topics from Diagnostics (25%), Pathophysiology (25%), Respiratory Care (25%), and Neonatal and Pediatric Care (25%).

Initial Registration and Requirements

The registration for the issuance of a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online and only accessible through an online appointment. The PRC will also release the schedule for the online appointment along with the list of passers. Here are the registration requirements:

  • Notice of Admission (NOA) – for identification purposes
  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • Passport-sized ID Photos in white background and with complete name tag (2 pieces)
  • Documentary Stamps (2 sets)
  • Short Brown Envelope (1 piece)

Previous Exam

In September 2019, a total of 838 out of 1,227 passed the Respiratory Therapist board exam. Ms. Wendy Abigail Navarro Pulido of Central Luzon Doctor’s Hospital Educational Institution and Christine Leyte Tayona of Cagayan State University (CSU)-Andrews Campus both clinched the highest spot with an 88% rating.

The Cagayan State University (CSU)-Andrews Campus emerged as the top-performing school having a 97.37% overall passing rate followed by San Pedro College – Davao City having 92.92%.
