The Philippine Merchant Marine Academy (PMMA), through the Admissions Office, released the names of the 4,281 qualified applicants for the 2019 PMMA Entrance Examinations (PMMAEE). They are qualified to take the PMMAEE on September 28, 2019 at various testing centers nationwide and get the chance to become a part the PMMA Class of 2024. Upon admission to the Academy, these young individuals will enjoy free 4-year tertiary education, free board and lodging, and an assured training onboard international vessels. Moreover, graduates of PMMA are also eligible to join the Philippine Navy or the Philippine Coast Guard as commissioned officers.

Walk-In Application
There are limited slots for walk-in applicants and they are subject for approval. If you failed to submit your application via mail, you may go directly to the designated testing center with the requirements stated above. Please make sure you have the complete requirements. Applicants with incomplete requirements are not allowed to take the PMMAEE. The registration time for walk-in applicants starts at 0600H and ends at 0800H.
Examination Guidelines
On the day of the examination, all applicants must follow these exam guidelines:
- He/she must be at the testing center at least one (1) hour before the examination;
- Must bring his/her TEST PERMIT (for those who did not receive their TEST PERMIT, he/she must show his/her valid I.D.;
- Bring any valid identification and at least two (2) pencils (mongol#2);
- Do not bring any calculator;
- Wear casual clothes (sleeveless shirt, short pants and slippers are not allowed).
Results will be posted at www.pmma.edu.ph and PMMA Official Facebook page. Examinees are also encouraged to call PMMA starting December 2019 until January 2020 at the following numbers:
