The PNP Entrance Exam is not that difficult but if you are not prepared physically and mentally, you’ll likely fail it. Preparation is the key here. Below are some important points to consider to successfully pass the exam and join the police force.
1. Begin your preparation early
Preparation is the key to pass the exam, but always begin your preparation early. Do not wait until the last minute to go scurrying around for books and review materials. As soon as you got the examination coverage of the PNP entrance exam, begin your review. If you have money, you can enroll in a review center. 2. Always be updated with the current events
Take time to read news articles or watch the evening news. Familiarize yourself with the current events in the country especially politics. Read newspapers, as it will update you on the latest happenings and will also improve reading comprehension and vocabulary.

If the location of the exam center is in a different town or province, try to locate the place of the testing center days before the exam. This way, you will save time and will be able to focus more on the examination.

Research shows that pupils and students who eat breakfast perform better in exams. A good and healthy breakfast will energize your system, improve your alertness and sustain you through the long exam hours.
7. Leave excess paraphernalia at home
Bring only the items needed for the examination. Do not bring reference books to the examination. They will only confuse those last minutes and be taken from you when in the test room.
8. Dress properly and comfortably
The exam is not a fashion show, so wear something comfortable. Wear a plain white t-shirt or white polo shirt, dark pants and shoes. This is the prescribed attire during the examination.
9. Prepare everything before the exam starts
Prepare all the necessary materials needed for the exam. Make sure you have the required pencil grade (no.2) and have some extra. Sharpen your pencils in advance. Do not forget to go the restroom before the exam starts.
10. Manage your time during the examination
Just relax and enjoy the exam. Some questions are harder than others. If you do not know the answer to a question, skip it and move on to the next but do not forget to answer it later. Do not spend too much time on a single question.
