NLE Results November 2023– The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results of the November 2023 Philippine Nursing Licensure Exam (PNLE). The list of the top ten examinees is also included in the release fifteen (15) working days after the examination.
On November 11–12, 2023, the PNLE was conducted at several testing centers in the NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Kidapawan, and Palawan. It was administered by the Professional Regulatory Board of Nursing, headed by its Chairman, Elsie A. Tee, and its members, Carmelita C. Divinagracia, Merle L. Salvani, Zenaida C. Gagno, Leah Primitiva S. Paquiz, and Marylou B. Ong.

Initial Registration and Requirements
On January 15–19, January 22–26, January 29–31, February 1–2, February 5–9, February 12–16, February 19–23, February 26–29, March 1, March 4–8, and March 11–12, 2024, the registration for the issuance of a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online and only accessible through an online appointment. The PRC will also release the schedule for the online appointment along with the list of passers. Here are the registration requirements:
- Notice of Admission (NOA) for identification purposes
- Duly completed Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Passport-sized ID Photos on a white background with a complete name tag (2 pieces)
- Documentary Stamps (2 sets)
- Short Brown Envelope (1 piece)
The official date of the oath-taking ceremony for the newly registered nurses will be announced later.
Previous Exams
The Professional Regulation Commission conducts the Philippine Nurses Licensure Exam twice a year, typically in May and November. It is one of the largest and most effective programs in terms of the quantity of applicants and passing rates.
In May 2023, 10,764 out of 14,364 examinees passed the Nursing Board Exam hitting an impressive passing rate of 74.94%. Ms. Cristin Bagang Pangan from the University of the Philippines—Manila clinched the top spot with a rating of 91.60%. Following closely is Mary Edrianne Codilla Sobretodo of Father Saturnino Urios University, with a rating of 91.40%, securing the second spot in the examination. Five universities and colleges, namely Pamatasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, Angeles University Foundation, Cavite State University, Bukidnon State University, and Southern Luzon State University-Lucban, shared the spot as the top performing schools, all garnering a passing rate of 100%.
In November 2022, 18,529 out of 24,903 passed the NLE. Abigail Garganta Ramirez from Saint Paul University-Dumaguete topped the boards with an impressive rating of 90%. She was followed by Jezrel Cabasis Aligid from Western Visayas State University-La Paz and Melchor Flores Pimentel Jr. from Saint Louis University, both garnering 89.80% ratings, securing the second spot in the examination.
