PSHS-NCE 2023 Result
Here are the passers of the 2023 PSHS National Competitive Examination. Congratulations!
Previous Exam
The COVID-19 pandemic forced the PSHS to cancel the National Competitive Examination last year. To avoid exposing thousands of examinees to the virus at testing sites across the country, they introduced a new system called the National Competitive Examination Requirements for Admission, Criteria and Evaluation (NCE-RACE).
The selection procedure consisted of two stages. The first stage calculated the applicant’s predicted NCE grade (PNG) based on their final grades in Science and Mathematics in Grade 5. The second stage assessed their writing skills through an essay submission.
Out of 3,843 students who took the second stage exam, only 1,768 qualified for the Philippine Science High School program. PSHS announced the results on December 17, 2022, about one (1) month after the application deadline.
