The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the September 2023 Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Licensure Exam results on September 19, 2023. The list of the top ten examinees is also included in the release two (2) days after the examination.
On September 14–15, 2023, the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering board exam was conducted at several testing centers located in NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Rosales, Tacloban, and Tuguegarao. It was administered by the PRC Board of Agricultural Engineering, headed by its Chairman, Engr. Ariodear C. Rico, and its members, Engr. Sherwin O. Valdez and Engr. Caesar Joventino M. Tado.
Agricultural Engineer Board Exam Results
According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), 615 out of 1,841 candidates passed the Board of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering’s Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers Licensure Examination. Congratulations to the passers!
Initial Registration and Requirements
From October 25 to October 27, 2023, the registration for the issuance of a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online and only accessible through an online appointment. The PRC will also release the schedule for the online appointment along with the list of passers. Here are the registration requirements:
- Notice of Admission (NOA) for identification purposes
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Passport-sized ID Photos on a white background and with a complete name tag (2 pieces)
- Documentary Stamps (2 sets)
- Short Brown Envelope (1 piece)
The official date of the oath-taking ceremony for the newly registered agricultural engineers will be announced later.
Previous Exams
The PRC conducts the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineer Board Exam every year, which is one of the programs with a small number of examinees per year. The number of examinees fluctuates from year to year, as does the passing rate.
For instance, in September 2022, there were 1,968 examinees, and 832 of them passed the exam, resulting in a passing rate of 42.28%. The topnotcher of the September 2022 exam was Mr. Fernando Asma Paralejas Jr. of Mindoro State University, who scored 86.32%. In September 2021, there were 1,392 examinees, and 507 of them passed the exam, resulting in a passing rate of 36.42%. The topnotcher of the September 2021 exam was Juven Genovia Luzorata of the University of Southeastern Philippines—Tagum, who scored 83.02%.
