Initial Registration Schedule and Requirements

Newly licensed midwives are required to complete the initial registration with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) to obtain their Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration. The schedule for online appointments will be announced along with the official release of results.

Registration must be completed online through the PRC’s official website at https://online.prc.gov.ph. Only applicants with confirmed online appointments will be accommodated at PRC offices.

Follow our detailed PRC online registration guide to help you complete the application process smoothly once registration opens.

Registration Requirements:

  • Notice of Admission (NOA) – for identification purposes
  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • Passport-sized ID photos with white background and full name tag (2 pieces)
  • Documentary Stamps (2 sets)
  • Short Brown Envelope (1 piece)

Successful examinees are advised to ensure all documents are complete before their appointment date to avoid delays in processing.

Oath-Taking Ceremony Schedule

All newly licensed midwives must attend an oath-taking ceremony before officially practicing their profession. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will announce the official date, venue, and procedures for the mass oath-taking through its official website and social media pages.

Those unable to attend the face-to-face ceremony may opt to participate in a virtual oath-taking (e-oath) or request a special oath-taking schedule. To register, log in to https://online.prc.gov.ph and select “e-OATH” as the transaction type.

Online registration for e-oath closes five (5) calendar days before the scheduled event. Inductees must download and print the “Oath of Professional” form, available under PRC Online Services, and present it during the ceremony.

After completing the oath-taking, newly registered midwives should proceed with the initial registration process by securing another appointment via https://online.prc.gov.ph to claim their Professional ID Card and Certificate of Registration.
