The Professional Regulation Commission released the January 2024 Licensure Examination for Architects (LEA) results on January 31, 2024. The list of the top ten examinees was also included in the release three working days after the examination.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conducted the Architecture Board Exam (ALE) on January 24 and 26, 2024, in different testing centers in the NCR, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. It was administered by the PRC Board of Architecture, headed by its Chairman, Arch. Robert S. Sac, with two other members, Arch. Robert M. Mirafuente and Arch. Corazon V. Fabia-Tandoc.

Initial Registration and Requirements
Starting March 18, 2024, registration for the issuance of a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online and only accessible through an online appointment. The PRC will also release the schedule for the online appointment along with the list of passers. Here are the registration requirements:
- Notice of Admission (NOA) for identification purposes
- Duly completed Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Passport-sized ID Photos on a white background with a complete name tag (2 pieces)
- Documentary Stamps (2 sets)
- Short Brown Envelope (1 piece)
The official date of the oath-taking ceremony for the newly licensed architects will be announced later.
Previous Exams
The Professional Regulation Commission conducts the Architects Licensure Examination twice a year, usually in the months of January and June. It has a decent number of examinees but one of the lowest passing rates among the programs.
In June 2023, 2,924 out of 4,784 passed the Licensure Examination for Architects (LEA). Fritz Mari Sangalang Sendrijas from Ateneo de Davao University clinched the top spot with a rating of 85.90%. Following closely is Rizza Mae Marollano Pardiñas from the University of Nueva Caceres, with a rating of 85%, securing the second spot in the examination. The University of the Philippines—Diliman was the top-performing school, with 50 passers out of 50 examinees.
