The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the November 2023 and January 2024 Dentists Licensure Examination result. The list of the top ten examinees was also included in the release four working days after the examination.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) held the written and practical exams for dentists in November 28–30, 2023, and January 4–11, 2024, respectively. The exams took place at various testing centers in Metro Manila, under the supervision of the Professional Regulatory Board of Dentistry. The board members were Dr. Rodolfo R. Drapete (chairman), Dr. Melinda L. Garcia, Dr. Carlito D. Paragas, Dr. Gloria M. Bumanlag, and Dr. Merlin A. Go.
Dentist Licensure Exam Result
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 732 out of 1,668 passed the November 2023 Licensure Examination for Dentists. The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld as per Board Resolution No. 18 series of 2023.

Initial Registration and Requirements
Starting February 16, 2024, the registration for the issuance of a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online and only accessible through an online appointment. The PRC will also release the schedule for the online appointment along with the list of passers. Here are the registration requirements:
- Notice of Admission (NOA) for identification purposes
- Duly completed Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Passport-sized ID Photos on a white background with a complete name tag (2 pieces)
- Documentary Stamps (2 sets)
- Short Brown Envelope (1 piece)
The official date of the oath-taking ceremony for the newly licensed dentists will be announced later.
Previous Exams
The Professional Regulation Commission conducts the Dentist Licensure Examination twice a year. It has a decent number of examinees but one of the highest passing rates among the programs.
Patricia Marie Mercado Cueto from Lyceum of the Philippines University- Batangas, Inc. clinched the top spot with an impressive rating of 83.00%. Following closely was Louise Christen Tolentino Valerio from Centro Escolar University-Manila with a rating of 82.73%, securing the second spot of the exam. Meanwhile, Southwestern University was the top performing school with a passing rate of 81.25%.
