CLE Result June 2022: Criminology Board Exam

CLE Results– The Professional Regulation Commission announced the official results of the Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE) conducted last June 12-14, 2022 at the different testing centers in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cauayan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Naga, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. It was conducted by the PRC Professional Board of Criminology headed by its Chairman, Ramil G. Gabao and its members, George O. Fernandez and Ruben A. Sta. Teresa.

CLE Result June 2022- List of Passers

According to PRC, 12,698 out of 41,913 (30.30%) successfully passed the Criminologists Licensure Examination. The results of the examination with respect to twenty-two (22) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination and one hundred three (103) were withheld as per Board Resolution No. 09 dated July 25, 2022.


Passing Score

To pass the Criminology Licensure Examination, an examinee must obtain a weighted average rating of 75% (75%) with no grade lower than 60% (60%) in any given subject. If an examinee receives a weighted average score of 75 percent but a grade of less than 60 percent in one or more subjects, his or her results will be deferred and he or she will be required to retake the failing subject (s).

The deferred examinee may retake the examination only once within two (2) years of the previous examination date and must obtain at least eighty percent (80 percent) on the subject to be considered to have passed the licensure examination. If an examinee fails to retake the exam after two years or fails to achieve a passing score of 80 percent, he or she must retake all board subjects.

An examinee is considered to have failed the board examination if he or she fails three (3) or more board subjects.

Online Initial Registration Application and Requirements

From September 5 to September 22, 2022, the registration for the issuance of a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online and only accessible through an online appointment. The PRC will also release the schedule for the online appointment along with the list of passers. Here are the registration requirements:

  • Notice of Admission (NOA) – for identification purposes
  • Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • Passport-sized ID Photos in white background and with complete name tag (2 pieces)
  • Documentary Stamps (2 sets)
  • Short Brown Envelope (1 piece)

Previous Exam

The PRC regularly conducts the Criminologists Licensure Examination twice a year, in the months of June and December. In December 2022 CLE,  11,610 out of 33,983 (34.16%) examinees hurdled the examinations. Brenyl Abilla of the University of Mindanao- Tagum aced the exam with a rating of 90.75%. She was followed by Binamin Renabor of Lake Lanao College, Inc. with a rating of 89.55%.
