The Philippine Military Academy Entrance Examination (PMAEE) is open to those who wish to join the Cadet Corps Armed Forces of the Philippines and later on become one of the top leaders of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. The PMAEE is the first step in the selection process to become a cadet at the most prestigious leadership school in the country today, the Philippine Military Academy. If you believe you meet all of the requirements listed below to become an officer in the military, then you should apply for the PMAEE in 2025.
The PMAEE is a highly competitive and rigorous test that assesses your physical, mental, and emotional abilities. Only those who pass the PMAEE will be admitted to the Academy, where they will undergo four years of academic, military, and leadership training. Upon graduation, they will be commissioned as second lieutenants in the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marines. As a PMA graduate, you will have the honor and privilege of serving the country and leading your fellow soldiers.
PMAEE Schedule 2025
The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) is now accepting applications for the PMA Entrance Exam 2025 through its Online Application System. Interested and qualified applicants are encouraged to carefully review the requirements and qualifications before proceeding with the application. To apply online, please follow the instructions provided below.
As for the examination schedule, the Philippine Military Academy will announce the official dates at a later time. Please stay tuned for further updates and announcements.
Qualifications
Here are the qualifications and requirements to become a cadet in the PMA:
- Natural-born Filipino citizen.
- Physically fit and of good moral character.
- Single and has never been married or pregnant, nor has a legal obligation to support a child or children.
- Must pass the PMA Entrance Examination.
- No Administrative/Criminal Case.
- At least a senior high school graduate with at least 85% GPA
- The height requirement for both males and females is 5 feet (not to exceed 6’4″ for both).
- At least 17 years old but not a day older than 22 years on June 1, 2026.
How to Apply to PMA
Here’s how to apply for PMAEE 2025 online.
1. Go to the Cadet Application System portal through https://admission.pma.edu.ph using a browser of your choice and preferably a laptop/desktop computer with a good internet connection.
2. If you already have an account, log in to the system using your login credentials; otherwise, create one. To create one, click the sign-up button (pencil icon) on the upper-right corner of the screen. Fill out the spaces with the required information, then click the next button to continue. Please provide a valid and active email address when signing up.
3. After doing so, the system will send you a verification code to the email you provided. Paste it into the box with the label “Verification Code” to complete your application. You will be automatically logged in after submitting the correct verification code.
4. Provide the necessary information like personal details, educational background, requirements, and survey. Fill out the online application form, then upload the scanned copies of your PSA Birth Certificate and High School Form 137 or 138. These files must be in JPEG format, and all pages must be saved as a single file.
After completing all the requirements, you will be notified that your application is in the validation process.
5. The PMA’s Office of the Cadet Admission will now evaluate your application to determine if you are qualified to take the PMAEE 2025.
6. Once approved, they will send you a notification in your account saying that you can download your Exam Permit. If you are disapproved, you will likewise receive a note stating the reason why you got disqualified.
7. Download and print your exam permit. Bring it to the examination center on the day of the examination. Do not forget to bring this document. You will not be allowed to take the exam without a permit.

PMA Entrance Exam 2025 Coverage

What to do if I passed the PMAEE?
Applicants who passed the PMAEE will be notified by the Office of Cadet Admission (OCA) through the mail, newspapers, and website announcements. The OCA will also inform the applicant of the date of his/her physical examination.
Report to AFP Medical Center (formerly V. Luna) for medical, dental, and neuropsychiatric examination. They will also give further instructions on the next step of the application process.

Question: I applied to take the exam at a particular center. Can I take the exam at another center?
Answer: YES, go to the center on examination day and inform the proctor about your circumstances.
Question: Is there a limit to how many times I can take the exam?
Answer: NONE, so long as you meet the requirements.

Answer: Check the master list for validated applicants to verify if you are qualified to take the exam. Question: What are the things I should bring during the exam day?
Answer: A photocopy of your PSA Birth Certificate and Grades, 2 x 2 ID Picture, a valid ID (preferably school/driver’s license), and at least 2 pencils ( no. 2)
Question: I did not apply by mail or online, can I go straight to the exam center on exam day?
Answer: YES, but you will be the last priority. Priority will be given to regular applicants. Proctors usually bring only a limited number of exam materials.
Question: How much is the fee to take the exam?
Answer: NO FEES. The exam is FREE.
Question: How should I prepare for the exam?
Answer: Prepare for the examination covering Algebra and Geometry; Grammar, Composition, and Reading Comprehension; and, Verbal/Numerical Reasoning and Pattern Analysis.
Question: How long is the exam?
Answer: On examination day, the whole morning (7:00 AM to 11:00 AM) will be for administrative aspects of the exam (fill up forms, limited physical examination, etc). The exam proper will start at exactly 12:00 noon and will last up to 4:30 P.M.

as far as i know po, hindi po nakaka disqualify ang scars and wounds lalo na’t hindi naman yun nakaka-affect sa physical performance mo. but since the scars and wounds are from SH baka po hindi ka pumasa sa neuro exam if mafind nilang sU!Č1d@l ka or merong mental illness. pero there’s no harm naman in trying lalo na kung gusto mo talaga. hope this helps!

A: When I was in my last year in senior high, someone from the military visited our school to inform us na pwede kami magtake ng PMA examination. But I did not take the exam around that time, and I was planning on taking it now (first year college) and base sa qualifications; as long as ang edad mo by June 1, 2026, is not a day older than 22 years old
For example: Birthday mo June 1 and 22 y/o ka na ngayon so next year 23 ka na,, bawal na yun

Hello. Overage ka na po for PMA. If you really want to be an officer of the AFP, take and finish a baccalaureate course. Then apply ka sa Officer Candidate Course ng branch of service na gusto mo mapabilang.

A candidate for the PMAEE 2020 must have been born not earlier than April 01, 1999 to qualify. I’m sorry but you are not qualified to take the 2020 PMAEE. The reporting date is on April 01, 2021 and you’ll be more than 22 y.o by then.

Nope. Kelangan mo pa rin mag entrance exam sa PMAEE, it is the basis and not your general weighted average(GWA).
Hindi po kasi sa amin nabanggit ung Online Application po. Hangad ko po sana e kahit sa walk in application po.

Hi, I also have problems regarding to attaching the files. Whenever I attach the image and save it, it won’t. I keep on trying many times, what I had able to save was the Form 138 and it took me several tries before I was able to. Check mo sa site ng PMA kung nasa list ka ng qualified applicants. Kung wala pa, go to the nearest exam center sa Augsut 24 or 25 and apply as a walk-in applicant.

Mababa ang passing rate sa PMAEE. Nasa 5-10% lang annually. KUng bagsak ka, try mo sa susunod as long as qualified ka pa din. Kung swertehin at makapasok ka, may bakasyon yun syempre.

Makakapag exam ka pero pagdating sa medical, mahirap makalusot. Ang gagastusin mo lang is yung bayad sa courier kung ipapadala mo ang application mo tyaka pagpunta sa venue sa exam. Wala dun tuitioon fee. May allowance ka pa nga pag nakapasok ka.

I have always been trying to apply online for the PMAEE, Ma’am/Sir, but I keep getting the exact same RunTime Error after countless tries of filling up, Ma’am/Sir, even after Facebook’s Registrar PMA advised that I must once again try. I have used all devices possible to go to the site but it still is giving me the same error, Ma’am/Sir, google says this could be caused by programming errors, Ma’am/Sir.
I also tried opening downloadable pdfs posted in an article by the Topnotcher Philippines but the attached pictures show another error, Ma’am/Sir, this time it’s an HTTP Error telling me that the pdfs (Downloadable Application Forms) posted online can’t be found, Ma’am/Sir.
Does this mean applications are no longer accessible, Ma’am/Sir? Or is there a delay happening within the online system?

For an applicant to qualify for the August 19, 2018 examination, he or she must be at least 17 years old but not a day older than 22 years on 01 April 2019. Why April 01? Because it will be the Oath-Taking Ceremony and Reception Rites, the official entry to the Academy as a member of a PMA Class.

You need the test permit from the OCA. You will report to the designated Examination Center on the date indicated on the permit. Source

Sir, I have the same height issues. My height is 149 cm and will graduate from Grade 12 this coming April 29. Since I was little, this is the school I dreamed to enter. Is there any way to resolve this problem? A height waiver perhaps?
Sir, how does a height of a person measure one’s dedication in studying? How does it affect the performance of someone who has the passion to prove oneself worthy in the academe of PMA?
I have read somewhere that height waiver is no longer issued. But to be sure, you may call the Office of Cadet Admission on the numbers posted above.

If you can graduate in senior high before April 01, 2019, I think you will be allowed to take the exam this August 19 provided that you have all the qualifications listed in this article. You may call the Office of Admission on the numbers stated above for more information. Thank you.
