In the March 2026 LET, 18,376 out of 32,796 examinees (56.03%) successfully passed the Elementary Level, while 45,001 out of 61,561 examinees (73.10%) passed the Secondary Level. Despite being the most widely taken board exam each year, passing the LET is no easy feat. In fact, the majority of those who take it fail to make the cut. Since 1996, the national passing rate has only ranged from 15% to 36%, which means the failure rate has been alarmingly high—from 64% to 85%. In other words, for every ten examinees, only two to four successfully pass the LET.
